 April 26th Open Tournament 6 Grand Prix Points

4SS, G/45. EF: $15. $$G: $225-$150-$100, U2200 $75, U2000 $60, U1800 $50.  Reg: 11:15-11:45, Rds: 12-1:45-3:45-5:30pm.  Checks or MO payable to Pat Bowyer (be sure to specify "Grand Prix, Saturday"!), mail to: PAR Group, 119 N. Park Ave.  Suite 303,  Rockville Centre, NY 11570. Limit 70 players, & positively NO door entries.

 April 26th Bughouse Team Tournament 

5 minute Swiss or round robin depending on # of entries. 2 players per team.   EF: $5/player. Cash to top team, trophies to top 2. Starting Time: 8 PM  Note: Past winners of this event include GM Joel Benjamin, Greg Fernandez (IMGnyce) and Alex Lenderman (manest).   This tournament runs only about an hour, so it is ideal for those playing in the Bruce Bowyer Memorial Chess Tournament (open section) also on April 26^th.

April 27th Scholastic Tournament

 5SS, G/30. Open to NYC school students gr. 4-12. EF: $10. $$Gtd:   $200-$125-$75, U1800 $50, U1600 $40, U1400 $30, U1200 $25. Trophy to winner, tiebreak order:  Cumulative, Median, Solkoff. All players receive either a medal or a T-shirt!  Reg: 10:15-10:45;  Rds: 11am-12:30-2:30-4 pm-5:30. Entries MUST be received by 4/23!   Check/MO payable to Pat Bowyer, mail to: PAR Group, 119 N.
